Story behind HTP
The HTP Consultancy was founded by distrupter Harshini Carey. After 22+ years of working within the Cyber Security/technology industry and building an excellent reputation for problem solving; she decided to start her own consultancy HTP Consultancy to address a gap in the industry by matching skilled, talented diverse group of individuals. 2022 Cyber unfilled skill gap is 3.5 million - on the other side of the coin Cyber is struggling to retain skills individuals this is due to the lack of growth (Nero diversity and diversity), training, non flexibility and toxic culture. All this can be ealisy solved by listening and understanding the individual needs. Hiring the right leaders at the
HTP is modern consultancy with a different edge. Harshini Carey is proud to announce the launch of her new company that provides Cyber Security, Privacy, Risk, compliance services and diversity training.
Harshini brings over 22+ years experience and a network within the Cyber Security, Intelligence, Compliance and Risk industry. She formerly worked for reputable companies in Europe and Americas such as Red Flag group now part of London Stock exchange, Denmark’s biggest IT supplier – KMD Neupart. Harshini is an experienced executive in Information Security, Cloud, Network Hardware, Third party Risk, due diligence Software and consultancy.

Harshini was a war child, lost her role model father at age 12. Raised by strong women (a mother and grandmother). She started her first business at 12 years (home jewellery business).
Her close family members were Military services and Healthcare officers - where a strong ‘protect the ones you love’ mentality, discipline, emotional intelligence, strong work ethics and making an impact in a small way was embedded into her and work that she conducts, whether helping clients or in personal life.

Immigrated to UK alone as a young adult and her resilience and determination is demonstrated when faced with challengers. She has spent her working life within the technology, security and compliance arenas. Specialising in the EMEA, Americas and APAC territories and passionate about creating an inclusive culture.
